➕ How to Use magicMELT (tap to expand)
Cut to Size – Trim a piece of magicMELT about 2" larger than your hoop for full coverage and stability.
Need Extra Support? – For dense designs or freestanding lace, double up! Use two layers to keep everything supported.
Keep It Taut – Hoop the stabilizer nice and snug—no wrinkles or slack—to help prevent shifting.
Embroider Your Design – Stitch as usual, following your design instructions.
Pro Tip – Trim excess stabilizer close to the embroidery before dissolving—this speeds everything up.
➕ Removing magicMELT (tap to expand)
Trim First – Carefully trim away excess stabilizer close to the design (but don’t cut into your stitches).
Choose Your Method – Warm water does the work:
Rinse Under Warm Running Water – Gently rub with your fingers until it dissolves.
Soak & Swish – Submerge in a bowl/sink of warm water and gently swish until it melts away.
Freestanding Lace Tip – Lay flat in water to help the piece keep its shape.
Freestanding Appliqué Tip – Use cotton swabs dipped in warm water to “rub” edges and remove excess.
Blot—Don’t Wring – Use a towel to blot excess water. No twisting or wringing, please.
Lay Flat to Dry – Air dry flat to avoid stretching or distorting stitches.
